I’d be lying if I said it was easy to eat well, make clean food choices, and sacrifice your favorite indulgences. That’s exactly why I’m quite excited to bring you this super simple recipe that allows you to indulge, but minus the not-so-good ingredients.

Healthy Banana Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 Ripe Banana

  • Oats (Optional)

  • Cream Cheese (Optional)

  • Fresh Berries (Optional)

  • Pure Maple Syrup (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat a small bit of butter in a skillet or on a griddle.

  2. Use a blender or food processor to blend your 2 eggs and 1 banana. (For extra thickness, you can add a handful of oats to blend in as well)

  3. Pour egg/banana mixture into pan to desired size. (Makes about 2-4 cakes)

  4. Let cook, flip when edges firm or slightly bubble.

  5. Finish off your cakes with fresh berries, a smear of cream cheese, or a drizzle of maple syrup.

Berry Sauce:

  1. Blend fresh strawberries

  2. Pour sauce on top of pancakes in place of sweeteners or other toppings.


These pancakes are so delicious, and you can get really creative with them! Maybe try adding a bit of your protein powder into the mixture for a post-workout pancake breakfast! These are a great alternative to the sugary, fluffy goodness that we sometimes get a big craving for! Curve that decision with this yummy alternative.
