Kid's Playroom Makeover

I was super excited when my sister approached me with the idea of putting together a sweet little playroom for her daughter, my niece, Reyah. My sister is a stay at home mama and wanted a place for her and Reyah to retreat to and let Reyah play, get creative, and have her own space to be a kid without being their bedroom or the other living areas in their home.

They recently moved into this house, so this room was filled with all the rest of their unpacked boxes. Altogether, we were able to transform this room in 48 hours. From unpacking and getting the room clear of all the remaining stuff, to the final touches.

This project required no demo or cosmetic changes. Same paint, same fixtures as when they moved in. We were able to create the whole room using almost everything exclusively from Target. Heck Yeahhhh

in the details.

I think it’s so important to include personal details in any space that you design. I love this lighted rainbow sign we found at target. Reyah is a special rainbow baby, and it makes me smile and feel so grateful whenever I see it.
